1. About Senior Sunrise
Senior Sunrise is a privacy-first health coordination platform designed specifically for seniors and their care circles. The app provides tools for medication management, vital signs tracking, emergency services, appointment planning, health reports, and optional family caregiver coordination.
Senior Sunrise is developed and operated by Senior Sunrise, LLC (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy.
2. Your Privacy & Zero-Knowledge Architecture
Senior Sunrise uses a zero-knowledge identity model. Your account is identified by a randomly generated, anonymous UUID — no email address, phone number, or full name is required to create or use an account.
• Your personal health data is encrypted on your device before any optional cloud sync.
• We cannot read, access, or recover your health data.
• Anonymous Recovery Codes are the only way to restore access if you lose your device.
• Store your Recovery Code in a safe place — we cannot issue a replacement.
3. Medical Disclaimer
Senior Sunrise is a personal health tracking tool — it is NOT a licensed medical device, diagnostic service, or substitute for professional medical advice.
• Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions.
• Medication reminders are convenience tools only — they do not replace pharmacist or physician guidance.
• AI-generated health insights and medication information are informational only and must not be used as the sole basis for any medical decision.
• In a life-threatening emergency, call 911 immediately.

5. Subscriptions & Billing
Paid plans are billed monthly through Apple App Store or Google Play Store (“the Stores”). By subscribing, you agree to the applicable Store’s payment terms.
• Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• You may manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device’s subscription settings (App Store or Google Play).
• Cancellations take effect at the end of the current paid period — you retain access to premium features until then.
• Refunds are subject to each Store’s refund policy. Senior Sunrise does not issue refunds directly.
• Prices are listed in USD and may vary by region.
6. Emergency SOS & Emergency Contacts
The Emergency SOS feature is designed to alert your pre-configured emergency contacts via the app. It is NOT a replacement for official emergency services.
• Emergency contact notifications depend on a working internet connection and the contacts’ ability to receive them.
• We are not responsible for delays, failures, or non-delivery of emergency alerts.
• Always call 911 or your local emergency number in a life-threatening situation.
7. AI-Powered Features
Gold and Platinum subscribers have access to AI-powered features including health insights, medication information, and meal planning suggestions.
• AI-generated content is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical, nutritional, or pharmaceutical advice.
• AI responses may occasionally be inaccurate. Always verify important health information with a qualified professional.
• AI features may use anonymized, aggregate data to improve suggestions. No personally identifiable information is used.
8. Wearable & Device Integration
Gold and Platinum subscribers may connect compatible wearable devices (e.g., Apple Watch, Fitbit, or other supported devices) to sync health data automatically.
• Device sync accuracy depends on your wearable’s firmware and your device’s health APIs.
• Senior Sunrise is not responsible for inaccurate readings from third-party hardware.
• Wearable data is processed locally and/or synced in encrypted form.
9. Your Responsibilities

✅ Store your Recovery Code in a safe place
✅ Back up your data by exporting PDFs (Silver+)
✅ Consult healthcare providers for medical decisions
✅ Use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes only
❌ Do not share your Recovery Code or PIN with untrusted parties
❌ Do not reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app
❌ Do not attempt to bypass security or subscription features
❌ Do not use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
❌ Do not enter false information that could endanger others
10. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of Senior Sunrise — including but not limited to software, design, text, graphics, and logos — are the exclusive property of Senior Sunrise, LLC and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Senior Sunrise, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
• Loss of health data due to device failure, app deletion, or forgotten Recovery Code
• Missed medications or medical decisions made based on app data
• Failure of emergency contact notifications to be received or acted upon
• Inaccurate data from connected wearable devices
• Interruptions to app service availability
The app is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top of this page and notify you within the app. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
By using Senior Sunrise, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.
