Your health data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used to profile you.

  1. Who We Are
    Senior Sunrise (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is developed and operated by Senior Sunrise, LLC. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information when you use the Senior Sunrise mobile application (“the App”).
  2. Zero-Knowledge Identity — No Account Sign-Up Required
    Senior Sunrise does not require you to create an account with your name, email address, or phone number. Instead, the App assigns you a randomly generated, anonymous UUID (Universally Unique Identifier) the first time you open it.

    – Your UUID is stored only on your device and in our encrypted backend (if you use subscription services). It cannot be traced back to your real identity.

    – Your billing history (managed by Apple or Google) is never linked to your health records.
  3. Information We Collect
    We collect as little information as possible. Here is exactly what we collect and why:

    – Health Data
    Examples: Vitals (BP, HR), medications, check-ins, medical history, appointments
    Stored: On your device only
    Shared with: No one — ever


    – Anonymous UUID
    Examples: Your randomly generated account identifier
    Stored: Device + encrypted backend
    Shared with: Our servers only (for subscription validation)


    – Subscription Status
    Examples: Active tier (Free/Silver/Gold/Platinum), expiry date
    Stored: Encrypted backend
    Shared with: Apple/Google for purchase verification


    – Crash & Error Logs
    Examples: Anonymized error reports if the app crashes
    Stored: Firebase Crashlytics (anonymized)
    Shared with: Our development team only, to fix bugs

  4. What We Never Collect
    ❌ Your name, email address, or phone number
    ❌ Your precise GPS location
    ❌ Your financial or payment card details (handled entirely by Apple/Google)
    ❌ Your biometric data (Face ID / fingerprint stays in your device’s secure enclave)
    ❌ Any health data for advertising or marketing purposes
    ❌ Behavioral tracking data for ad targeting
    ❌ Data from your contacts beyond what you explicitly enter as emergency contacts
  5. How We Use Your Information
    ✅ Deliver core app features (medication tracking, vitals, check-ins, etc.)
    ✅ Validate your subscription tier via Apple App Store or Google Play
    ✅ Allow you to restore your account on a new device using your Recovery Code
    ✅ Diagnose and fix crashes and technical errors (using anonymized logs only)
    ✅ Improve AI-powered suggestions using anonymized, aggregated patterns — never individual health records
  6. Your Health Data Lives on Your Device
    Vitals, medications, check-ins, appointments, and medical history are stored locally in an encrypted database on your phone or tablet. We cannot read, access, or transmit this data from our servers.

    If you delete the app or lose your device without a Recovery Code, this data cannot be recovered — by you or by us.
  7. Subscription & Payment Privacy
    All payments are processed exclusively by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We never see, store, or have access to your credit card, Apple ID, or Google account details.

    We receive only an anonymized purchase receipt that confirms your subscription tier. This receipt is validated against your anonymous UUID — not your real identity.
  8. AI-Powered Features (Gold & Platinum)
    AI health insights and medication information are generated using anonymized, aggregated patterns. Your personal health records are never sent to an AI model or external server for processing.

    AI-generated responses are informational only and do not constitute medical advice.
  9. Wearable & Device Integration (Gold & Platinum)
    If you connect a compatible wearable device, health data (e.g., steps, heart rate, sleep) is synced directly to your device using Apple HealthKit or Google Fit APIs.

    This data is stored locally on your device only and is subject to the respective platform’s own privacy policies (Apple / Google). We do not transmit wearable data to our servers.
  10. Biometric Security (Face ID / Touch ID)
    The App uses your device’s native biometric authentication system (Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint) to protect access to the app.

    We never see, store, process, or transmit your biometric data. It is processed entirely within your device’s secure hardware enclave.
  11. Third-Party Services We Use
    We work with a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the App. Each service receives only the minimum data necessary:

    – Apple App Store / Google Play
    Purpose: Subscription billing & receipt verification
    Data shared: Purchase receipts only — no health data


    – Firebase (Google)
    Purpose: Anonymous account management & crash reporting
    Data shared: Anonymous UUID & anonymized error logs only


    – Apple HealthKit / Google Fit
    Purpose: Wearable data sync (opt-in, Gold/Platinum only)
    Data shared: Read locally on your device — not transmitted

  12. Data Retention & Your Right to Delete
    You are in control of your data:

    – Health data is stored on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.

    – Your anonymous UUID and subscription status are stored on our backend for as long as you have an active subscription.

    – To delete your account and all associated backend data, go to Settings → Profile → Delete Account. This action is permanent and irreversible.

    – We do not retain any data after account deletion beyond what is required by law.
  13. Children’s Privacy
    Senior Sunrise is designed for adults and is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
  14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Effective Date” at the top and notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
